Blog EntryAdding Music to your Homepage!Nov 25, '07 6:21 PM
for everyone

How to add a music player (Multiply built-in Flash player) to your homepage:

1) Go to your main page and click on Customize My Site (or go to "Settings/My Site")
and click on the Edit link on your Welcome Message box.
You may also use the link bellow which opens that page on your account directly:
http://multiply.com/setup/pages/content

(The song/play list must be uploaded to/on your Multiply)

2) Click on the check box beside Play music on my homepage and choose a playlist with only MP3 files.
The playlist must be also public (Privacy level set to "Everyone").
There is a reminder about it if you mouse over the question mark beside the playlist drop-down menu.

3) Now you should be All set. :o)

Just a reminder, Multiply now only allows members signed in to Multiply to view your player,
and hear your homepage music. This is to protect all of us.
You will not see or hear either when viewing as "Another User".
Homepage music also has to be set to "EVERYONE".
Music or playlist MUST be MP3's.

Question...does that mean it has to be a play list saved on my computer? I've tried to do it that way and have not succeeded. Seemed it wanted to access my computer, so I go back to Imeem and grab a playlist I make from there! Very confusing...I see other people are playing music okay...I just can't seem to figure that out...LOL
